Mehrdad is a Computer Science M.Sc. student at Sabancı University, working in the VIRAL Lab under the esteemed supervision of Onur Varol. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Urmia University. During his undergraduate years he focused on applying machine- and deep-learning techniques to healthcare challenges.
He has since worked as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer, designing and deploying end-to-end ML systems. His current research sits at the intersection of NLP, psychology, and network science.
